The MoSD meets with Gaza patients residing in the West Bank and announces the disbursement of urgent support payments

Ramallah – Minister of Social Development, Dr. Samah Hamad, announced the disbursement of urgent financial payments, including rent and basic expenses, to patients from the Gaza Strip residing in the West Bank, as well as their families and companions, with the aim of alleviating their burdens.

This came during the Minister's meeting with patients at the Ministry's headquarters on Saturday, in the presence of Assistant Undersecretaries Akram Al-Hafi and Ashraf Al-Barghouthi. Their needs and circumstances were discussed, and the Ministry affirmed its commitment to alleviating their suffering.

Hamad called on institutions and partners from the private and civil society sectors to provide urgent support by securing rental accommodations and covering necessary expenses, given their difficult living and health conditions.

Hamad explained that continued support and facilitating procedures require true partnership and community solidarity, emphasizing that the Ministry will continue to work with all partners to secure suitable accommodation, cover basic expenses, and ensure the continuity of social and humanitarian care for patients.
