The Ministry of Social Development emphasizes the of full compliance by nurseries with the regulations and instructions governing their operations, particularly those related to the permitted age groups for children admitted to nurseries.

It has recently been observed that some nurseries are admitting children of kindergarten and school age, which constitutes a clear violation of licensing conditions and negatively affects the quality of care provided, as well as children’s safety.

Accordingly, the ministry warns against continuing such practices and affirms that any nursery found to be non-compliant will be subject to legal accountability, which may include the revocation of its license in accordance with applicable regulations.

The ministry calls on all nursery owners to fully adhere to the instructions in order to safeguard children’s safety and ensure the quality of services provided.
