Palestine Participates in the International Government Communication Forum in Sharjah

Sharjah – The State of Palestine, represented by the Ministry of Social Development, participated in the International Government Communication Forum held on September 10–11, 2025, under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, with the wide participation of government representatives, official institutions, and Arab and international organizations.

Palestine was represented in the forum through the Arab Parliament for Children, where Mustafa Herzallah participated as the accredited member representing Palestine, under the supervision of Ramzi Rabee, Child Protection Counselor at the Jerusalem Directorate.

On the first day of the forum, the Palestinian child took part in a parliamentary simulation session entitled “Sustainability: A Trust for Future Generations”, presenting a set of recommendations aimed at strengthening the Arab Parliament for Children’s efforts to promote sustainable development principles and convey the voices and proposals of children to decision-makers. On the second day, he continued his participation in a dialogue session entitled “The Efforts of the Arab Parliament for Children in Promoting Green Economy Culture”, where he presented ideas and perspectives reflecting Palestinian children’s awareness of environmental and development issues. He also participated in a number of media engagements broadcast on the official platforms of the Arab Parliament for Children.

This participation comes as part of the Ministry of Social Development’s commitment to empowering Palestinian children and providing them with opportunities for meaningful participation in Arab and international forums, thereby strengthening Palestine’s presence and role in developmental and humanitarian issues and highlighting the position of the Palestinian child as a key partner in shaping the future.
