Ramallah – As part of its ongoing emergency humanitarian response, the Ministry of Social Development continues to provide support to Palestinian families affected by the ongoing Israeli aggression in the northern West Bank. In this context, the Ministry has distributed thousands of food parcels and cash assistance across various governorates, reflecting its deep commitment to supporting vulnerable and displaced families.

In a clear demonstration of solidarity during these difficult times, the Sultanate of Oman maintained its steady support by providing financial aid to 364 affected Palestinian families. Meanwhile, the Arab Bank announced the distribution of food parcels to 2,196 affected families throughout the West Bank.

In coordination with the "Thamrat Khair" campaign in Tulkarm, the Ministry helped prepare 600 food parcels and 50 mattresses to support displaced families in the governorate. Additionally, 2,200 Eid clothing vouchers—each worth 200 shekels—were distributed across the West Bank in collaboration with the Quloob Raheema Association.

As part of its relief efforts, the Ministry of Social Development, in coordination with Baytna Al-Shababi Foundation, oversaw the distribution of the first round of food parcels to affected families in the West Bank, while preparations for the second round are underway to meet additional needs in the coming days.

The Ministry also coordinated with the Esnad Association to support orphans by providing 150 shekels to 200 orphans for Eid clothing. The Rahma, Multammeen Ala Al-Khair, and Qimam associations contributed 100 food parcels to registered orphans, funded by the Karama Tadamun Association.

To further strengthen support for families in need, the Ministry, through the Multammeen Ala Al-Khair Association, provided 500 shekels in assistance to 200 families registered with the Ministry, as part of the Zakat program.

The Ministry of Social Development affirms its ongoing field visits to shelter centers, alongside the provision of psychosocial support to affected families. It reiterates its commitment to strengthening the resilience of the Palestinian people and addressing their urgent humanitarian needs in these challenging circumstances.
